The United States sent two B-52H Stratofortress strategic bombers to the Middle East, Interfax reported referring to confirmation in the Pentagon.
According to air observers from the United States and the UK, the bombers flew from the United States reached the borders of Iran, and then returned. During this extended flight, they were accompanied by fighters from Israel, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar.
Such flights are carried out regularly by the US Air Force.
