The leader of your political party is a traitor, you’re a traitor, you are against Armenia. This is what one of the participants of a demonstration told deputy of the ruling My Step faction of the National Assembly Hovik Aghazaryan near the entrance to the National Assembly.
The deputy stared speaking informally and said the following: “Will you prove it, or shall we speak in a different language? You’re the traitor head to toe, scoundrel.” Afterwards, the demonstrator countered him and said he and his son are the scoundrels, after which Aghazaryan raised his fist to hit the demonstrator, but the police interfered.
Aghazaryan left the scene, and when a journalist said he and other deputies are accused of betrayal, Aghazaryan said the following: “The allegations need to be substantiated. Let people address law-enforcement authorities and substantiate, and when they do, I’ll be the judge.”
