“The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia declared that the investigator has allegedly forwarded the indictment under the case regarding first Prime Minister of Armenia Vazgen Manukyan to the Prosecutor General’s Office. Of course, the latter did not talk about the fact that (1) I had submitted an extensive petition with a detailed analysis of the case materials for dismissing the criminal case since there is no link between the act of Mr. Manukyan and the act provided for by Article 301 incriminated to Mr. Manukyan at all. There are also clear procedural violations in which case the only solution for the investigator would be to dismiss the criminal case; (2) Today an appeal will be submitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the aim of which is to consume that measure and (3) the study of the materials of the criminal/political case regarding Vazgen Manukyan showed that the materials have been forwarded to the chairman of the Investigative Committee a few times, but the chairman of the Investigative Committee has no procedural toolkit for investigation of this specific case…”
