We have clearly presented our agenda, and if Pashinyan and the factions of the National Assembly of Armenia are ready to hold consultations with this agenda, we’re also ready. This is what candidate of the opposition Homeland Salvation Movement for Prime Minister of Armenia Vazgen Manukyan told reporters on Marshal Baghramyan Avenue today.
Touching upon the possible mutual concessions, Manukyan stated that there are issues that can be discussed and mutual concessions can be made. He added that if the leader of the country has led the country to an embarrassing defeat, there can’t be compromise with such a leader. “Either Pashinyan resigns or doesn’t. There can’t be any other discussion,” he said.
As far as the possible snap parliamentary elections are concerned, Manukyan said the following: Elections are absurd in this tense situation. If we allow snap elections during his administration, we will legitimize all the embarrassing defeats that he led the country to. Citizens of Armenia see that the country is slowly turning into a police state. How can there be elections in such a state?”
