Moscow is ready to hold talks with Ankara over the supply of fifth generation Su-57 fighter jets and Su-35 4++ generation fighter jets, as well as cooperate for the development of state-of-the-art Turkish fighter jets. This is what Spokesperson of the Federal Service of the Russian Federation for Military-Technical Cooperation Valeria Reshetnikova told reporters today, RIA Novosti reports.

Earlier, Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank had declared that Ankara doesn’t rule out the possibility of purchasing Su-35 and Su-57 fighter jets, but considers the development of its own fifth generation fighter jets a priority.

“As far as the possible plans for Ankara’s purchase of the Russian Su-35 and Su-57 fighter jets are concerned, it should be mentioned that Turkey is fully aware of the technical specifications of the fighter jets. If Turkey applies to purchase the jets, Russia will be ready to hold talks,” Reshetnikova said.
