Armenia’s Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Finland to Armenia Kirsti Narinen.

During the meeting, the defense minister presented the situation created after the cessation of hostilities, the course of implementation of the agreements reached, the ensuring of security in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) through the peacekeeping mission and humanitarian issues and placed special emphasis on Azerbaijan’s return of Armenian prisoners of war.

The interlocutors also discussed issues related to the security environment in the region, the existing threats and the expected developments.
