During a conversation with Pastinfo newspaper, former Chief of Staff of the National Assembly of Armenia-Secretary General Ara Saghatelyan said the only goal of the authorities to cause a state of lawlessness in the information field and take unprepared people to the battlefield and leave them in the fields was to make sure there is frustration and not let people become politically active due to sorrow and deep disappointment.

“When Nikol Pashinyan declared that 30 people should gather, choose a commander, take armored vests from their closets and go to the battlefield, it was the period when he clearly knew that he hadn’t accepted the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the proposal of Vladimir Putin and, what’s worse, the proposal of the five presidents to share responsibility and stop the war,” Saghatelyan said and added the following: “People who are ready to volunteer and sacrifice their lives for the homeland or national dignity are the active people, and when you send the active people to the battlefield, like Poroshenko did, you reduce the risk of seeing those people on the streets in the future.”
