Artashes Toumanian, ambassador of Armenia to Iran, received Markus Leitner, ambassador of Switzerland to Iran, the embassy of Armenia in Iran informed on Facebook.

During the meeting, the Armenian ambassador had remarks pertaining to the 2020 Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war, postwar situation in the region, and the challenges facing Armenia.

The Swiss ambassador, in turn, expressed his support in overcoming the critical postwar situation in Armenia, wishing the quick establishment of peace and stability in the region.
