A major and tragic road accident took place Sunday in Aragatsotn Province of Armenia, shamshyan.com reports.
At around 7:40pm, the car went off road on the Yerevan-Gyumri motorway—in the administrative area of Ashnak village, crashed into stones, rolled over several times, and ended up in the field.
Five people were injured and taken to Talin town hospital.
Sometime thereafter, the police received a call from the hospital informing that that three of the injured had died.
A criminal case has been filed under the Criminal Code article on traffic accident which has caused the death of two or more people.
