The Hayastan All Armenian Fund is currently undergoing an international audit and it is not over yet. The information that the international audit did not confirm that the fund's report and $8 million were cashed and misappropriated by the authorities is nonsense. Ashot Barseghyan, the public relations manager of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund, told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

International Studies specialist Andranik Hovhannisyan had written in his Telegram channel that the aforesaid international audit did not confirm the report of the Armenian government on the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund, and which questions the future of this fund. According to him, about $8 million transferred to the fund by the Armenian community of the US were cashed and misappropriated by the representatives of the current regime in Armenia.

During the difficult days of the recent Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war, most of the funds raised by the Hayastan All Armenian Fund—AMD 52,703,113,395—were donated to a separate government treasury account at the request of the government of Armenia and by the decision of the Board of Trustees of the fund, and in order to fun infrastructure, social and healthcare expenditures.

But taking into account the growing public interest in this issue, Armenia’s President, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Hayastan All Armenian Fund Armen Sarkissian had addressed a letter to the executive director of the fund, Haykak Arshamyan, on November 26, 2020, with a proposal to provide clarifications.

Also, the President had demanded that the Armenian government submit a report on its expenditures made from the amount it was transferred by the Hayastan All Armenian Fund.
