YEREVAN. – Any internal political process affects foreign policy processes, too, and the most important process today is the return of captives. Armen Khachatryan, a member of the majority My Step faction in the National Assembly of Armenia, told this to reporters in the parliament Monday, referring to the question as to whether the political developments in Armenia can affect the return of Armenian captives in Azerbaijan.

"This is a certain lever to strain the internal political situation in Armenia. It is a good tool in [Azerbaijani president Ilham] Aliyev's hands, through which he manages to strain the internal political situation in the Republic of Armenia and make it a subject of manipulation by some forces of Armenia," Khachatryan added.
