Armenia’s Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan today met with the personnel of the Engineer Troops Department of the Armed Forces of Armenia.

Head of the Engineer Corps-Head of Department, Major General Ishkhan Mathevosyan presented the current issues, planned events and upcoming programs of the Department.

The defense minister answered several questions regarding the organizing of daily service and the solutions to social issues and emphasized that he will be consistent with the speedy solution to the existing issues.

Harutyunyan also held a consultation with the administration of the Department and discussed the actions being taken to ensure engineering of the troops and upgrade engineering and fortification infrastructures in the border zone. He also gave assignments and instructions.
