According to Pastinfo newspaper’s sources, Anna Vardapetyan, Assistant to Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, has visited the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) and had meetings with member of the SJC Gagik Jhangiryan three times over the past month.

Pastinfo also reports that the two discussed issues related to arrest under various cases and that Jhangiryan started showing interest in those issues after Vardapetyan left.

Anna Vardapetyan recently became popular in the context of the well-known video showing of declassified letters, after which it became clear that the Prime Minister’s assistant is rudely interfering in the implementation of justice by editing the decisions on charges sent by the investigator and receiving data constituting bank secret regarding Pashinyan’s political opponents.
