The previous 3-4 months were first of all significant for me, with numerous meetings with people—comrades-in-arms, politicians and public figures, expert community, youth, journalists, doctors, cultural figures, our compatriots from the diaspora. The second president of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan, wrote this on Facebook.

"We have met at various occasions, for work or due to some circumstances, at the office, near the court, even in the streets of Yerevan, in Tsakhkadzor, on the plane. We talked about politics, the [recent] Karabakh [(Artsakh)] war, the past, but most of all, about the future of Armenia.

You, just people who love their homeland, have strengthened my confidence that together we can heal the wounds and restore the country again.

Thank you," also reads the second president’s post.
