Armenia and Sweden are united by relations based on mutual respect and the prospects of raising them to a new level, Armenian Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian told a briefing with the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde.

According to him, today's meeting was a good occasion to touch upon relations in various spheres. The FM highly appreciated Sweden's assistance in democratic reforms in Armenia.

"Relations with the EU were touched upon. Accepting congratulations in connection with the implementation of the agreement with the EU, I expressed confidence that the full-fledged application will provide new opportunities for strengthening cooperation with the EU countries," the FM said.
