President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today met with chairperson of the board of Heritage Party Narinen Dilbaryan and the political party’s spokesperson Rshtun Martirosyan.

During the meeting held as part of the President’s discussions with parliamentary and extra-parliamentary political forces, the interlocutors discussed the current situation in Armenia and the paths to solve the situation and overcome the domestic political crisis.

Dilbaryan presented the political party’s views and recommendations and mentioned that Heritage Party attaches importance to the formation of a transitional government of professionals and the adoption of constitutional amendments and a new Electoral Code prior to the holding of snap parliamentary elections. She also underscored the role of the presidential institution as a platform for mutual understanding and dialogue.
