YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrived at the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Wednesday morning.
The car transporting him reached all the way to the ministry building door, which is located inside the building.
To note, the aforesaid ministry building—which houses the Foreign Ministry, too—is surrounded by police on all four sides since early morning, and the street across is closed off on both sides.
The reason is that youth from the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation-ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party had announced Tuesday that they were going to block Pashinyan's way on Wednesday.
However, only three ARF youth had arrived at this protest action on Wednesday. And one of them said the purpose of this action was to show the government that they were not going to carry out any action at all.
