YEREVAN. – My approach is simple: all captives must be released. The ambassador of France to Armenia, Jonathan Lacote, stated this Wednesday during a press conference, answering the question about the Armenian POWs and detainees held in Azerbaijan.

"This applies not only to those who have fallen captive before the November 9, 2020 statement, but also to all captives—in accordance with international humanitarian law and the Geneva Conventions," the ambassador added.

Also, the diplomat reminded that the OSCE Minsk Group is the only internationally recognized format within the framework of which the search for ways to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict is carried out through diplomacy.
