YEREVAN. – A criminal case has been initiated on the controversial video released from the military positions of Kapan town in Syunik Province of Armenia, on March 14.
The case has been opened under Section 3 (negligent attitude towards military service during martial law) of Article 376 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. Arevik Khachatryan, head of the Public Relations Department of the Prosecutor General's Office, stated about this Wednesday in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am's inquiry.
She added that the criminal case has been sent to the Investigative Committee with an instruction to conduct an investigation.
To note, in the aforesaid video that was shot in one of the military positions in Syunik Province, the soldier was complaining about the poor conditions of this military position.
