Advocate Amram Makinyan today posted on his Facebook page that he has been summoned to the National Security Service of Armenia.
“Dear friends, I have been summoned to the National Security Service to give an explanation in regard to the criminal collaboration between Pashinyan and Vardapetyan.
I will provide details about the case later,” he wrote.
On March 10, 168.am presented a video showing Nikol Pashinyan’s Advisor for Legal Affairs Anna Vardapetyan interfering in the preliminary investigation of the criminal cases launched against businessman and former president of the Football Federation of Armenia Ruben Hayrapetyan and his son, Rafik Hayrapetyan by making corrections in the case materials and, in essence, instructing the key role-players.
There are facts that particularly show that Artur Ayvazyan, the investigator for the case, and Ruben Davtyan, Head of the Criminal Police Department receive, via e-mails, assignments from Anna Vardapetyan with respect to specific decisions, particularly the decision on involving Ruben Hayrapetyan and his son, Rafik Hayrapetyan as the accused.
Advocate Amram Makinyan submitted to the Prosecutor General’s Office a report on the several prima facie crimes that Anna Vardapetyan and investigator Artur Ayvazyan have committed by using their official positions.
In response to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s inquiry, the Investigative Committee of Armenia reported that Investigator for Particularly Important Cases Artur Ayvazyan has submitted an explanation to the Prosecutor General stating that they had received illegal access to the personal e-mail address and downloaded the information.
The Investigation Department of the National Security Service is currently preparing materials based on the submitted reports.
