According to Mediaport Telegram channel, an Armenian judge granted the motion for the measure for securing the claim under the case of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Onik Gasparyan; in particular, the judge temporarily upheld the claim of the plaintiff and prohibited the appointment of a new chief.

This means Onik Gasparyan will continue to serve as Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces.

According to Mediaport, the decision has already been forwarded to the Compulsory Enforcement Service for compulsory enforcement and is now available in the internal electronic system of the Service.

During a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am, Onik Gasparyan’s attorney Artur Hovhannisyan stated that even though he still hasn’t received the court’s decision on the motion, he has also received news that the court has granted the motion. The judicial act will be available for the attorney tomorrow morning.
