Armenia’s Minister of Emergency Situations Andranik Piloyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Armenia Giorgi Saganelidze, who was joined by First Secretary of the Embassy of Georgia in Armenia Shalva Sabauri.

Greeting the guests, Minister Piloyan touched upon the implementation of programs within the scope of several cooperation agreements signed between the governments of Armenia and Georgia. He also emphasized that the programs were postponed in 2020 due to the pandemic and the war imposed on Armenia and that there is a need to intensify cooperation this year.

Saganelidze congratulated the minister on his appointment and expressed willingness to contribute to the development of the cooperation between the two countries in this sector.

During the meeting, the parties discussed several issues on the Armenian-Georgian cooperation.
