Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan today met with Asian Development Bank (ADB) Armenia Country Director Paolo Spantigati.
Greeting the guest, Avinyan stated that the Armenian government highly appreciates the cooperation with the ADB and expressed gratitude to the ADB for supporting the government’s efforts to overcome the coronavirus pandemic in the healthcare and education sectors.
Avinyan also presented the Armenian government’s economic response plan and the priorities laid down in the plan (restore economic activity, ensure stability of economic environment and enhance mid-term economic policy agenda) and expressed the government’s hope for deepening of cooperation with the ADB within the scope of the economic response plan.
The Deputy Prime Minister pinpointed the priorities of the government’s economic policy. In this context, the parties considered the opportunities for cooperation in the infrastructure sector.
