Spokesperson of the Ministry of Health of Iran Sima Sadat Lari says the country has reported over 1,800,000 coronavirus cases, Tasnim reported.

Sima Sadat Lari on Sunday reported that over 1,801,000 citizens have tested positive for the coronavirus in the past day.

In the past 24 hours, the pandemic has taken the lives of 73 citizens, but there are a total of 61,797 deaths.

Currently, over 1,543,100 patients have recovered after getting infected with the coronavirus or have been discharged from hospitals across the country, Lari said.

There are 3,858 patients at intensive care units since they are in critical condition.
