During a conversation with Armenian News-NEWS.am, head of Karmir Shuka community of Martuni region of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Narek Atayan said the 48-year-old man who was found burnt on March 21 in Karmir Shuka community had four minor children.

“There are still no versions. Everything will be clear after the preliminary investigation, which is underway,” he said, adding that the man was married, had a normal family and had no mental health problems.

Asked if Azerbaijan might have killed him, the head of Karmir Shuka community said it’s not likely.

Atayan said the man’s body was found near his house.

The Investigative Committee of Artsakh reports that the body of the man was found burnt and that urgent procedural and investigative actions are being carried out within the scope of the criminal case that has been launched under the article of incitement of suicide. Preliminary investigation continues.
