ArmLur.am reports that former chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Onik Gasparyan has addressed Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan.
“Earlier, it was reported that Onik Gasparyan will be submitting a report on crime to the Prosecutor General’s Office.
The text of the application of Onik Gasparyan submitted to the Prosecutor General is at the disposal of ArmLur.am which reads as follows:
“On March 17, 2021, the Administrative Court granted the motion to for securing the claim of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia Onik Gasparyan and decided:
1. Based on the recommendation that Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan made to President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian to dismiss Onik Gasparyan from the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, according to the claim of Onik Gasparyan vs President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian, when the administrative act is not adopted by the President of Armenia, to uphold the motion regarding securing of claim in relation to the request to acknowledge the absence of legal relation of dismissal of the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces by virtue of law.
2. To undertake a measure of securing the claim, in the form of temporary granting of the request of the plaintiff, that is, prior to entry into legal force of the final judicial act resolving the case on the merits, to acknowledge the absence of legal relation of dismissal of the chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces by virtue of law, based on the recommendation that Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan made to President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian to dismiss Onik Gasparyan from the position of Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, when the administrative act is not adopted by the President of Armenia. This decision shall enter into legal force from the moment of it is rendered.”
