President Armen Sarkissian on Tuesday received the minister of labor and social affairs of Armenia, Mesrop Arakelyan.

The minister provided information to the President on the activities and programs being implemented by his ministry, in particular, reflecting on the programs of state support to the population of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), as well as to persons who have become disabled as a result of the recent war.

President Sarkissian considered the full and proper implementation of these and similar programs a priority.

Opportunities for cooperation between the President's Office and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs on a number of programs were also discussed.
