Armenian Azerologist Anzhela Elibegova today told reporters that the political statements of Armenia and Azerbaijan match.

According to her, this particularly concerns the fact that Baku says the Artsakh issue is solved and it is necessary to move forward, and Armenia’s authorities also call on moving forward, but this is inadmissible since a lot of questions remain unanswered. Elibegova added that Aliyev has stated five times that he made his contribution to the domestic political processes that unfolded in Armenia in 2018, and Armenia has started treating these statements differently after the war.

“Aliyev says he contributed to the formation of a negative attitude towards the former authorities of Armenia and destroyed the foundations of Armenian statehood, adding that he needed “partnering” authorities in Armenia with which it would be possible to reach agreements,” the analyst mentioned.

Elibegova added that the relatives of prisoners of war must not let the Armenian authorities take advantage of their sorrow for political goals, taking into account the fact that the ruling party is manipulating the issue and blaming the political opposition for the failures.
