YEREVAN. – Armenia and Azerbaijan, mediated by Russia, are discussing the unblocking of all communications that existed during the Soviet years. Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan stated this at Wednesday’s session of the National Assembly of Armenia, answering the MPs' questions.
In particular, he clarified that the roadmap for unblocking roads in the region, and which was published by the Russian newspaper Kommersant, is not so accurate, as the working group is discussing solely the restoring of communications from the Soviet era. "The agenda actually includes the restoration of the highways and railways that operated during the Soviet years," the deputy PM explained.
