President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today met with leader of the My Step faction of the National Assembly Lilit Makunts, as reported on the website of the President of Armenia.

“During the meeting, the current situation in the country, the paths to overcome the situation and the holding of snap parliamentary elections as a solution to the situation, were touched upon. Presenting the faction’s position and approaches, Lilit Makunts stated that the My Step faction attaches importance to the improvement of the electoral legislation ad particularly the holding of the upcoming snap parliamentary elections through the proportional electoral system,” the press release reads.
