Armenia will simplify the procedure for issuance of death certificates of servicemen as much as possible. This is what Minister of Justice of Armenia Rustam Badasyan said in response to deputies’ questions during today’s question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament today.

Badasyan particularly stated that the Ministries of Justice and Finance are currently considering the bill on lifting state duties for heirs (the bill will be submitted to the government for consideration in the next few weeks and then to the parliament for consideration).

“I have also addressed the Judicial Department and have asked the latter to start considering the cases for declaring a serviceman as deceased or missing,” Badasyan added.
