Hayastan All-Armenian Fund has acted in accordance with its charter and the law, and its aim is not to cover military expenses. This is what Executive Director of Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Haykak Arshamyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am when asked if it is right that the Fund has transferred funds to the Armenian government and whether this doesn’t mean that the funds don’t serve the real goal.

Arshamyan assured that the Fund hasn’t committed any violation of the charter and added that the funds were transferred to a special bank account to be used for additional expenses due to martial law, not to buy weapons.

Arshamyan also said the Fund is preparing to present a report on the expenditures to the public and added that the Fund has collected $220,000,000 since the war was unleashed on September 27, 2020.
