Today, between 11:00 a.m. and 11:43 a.m. the Regional Crisis Management Center of Aragatsotn Province of Armenia received calls from citizens stating that rain pipes were clogged in several homes of a city and villages and rainwater was pouring into homes, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia reports.

The operative group and firefighting-rescue squads of the Aragatsotn Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations left for the scene and found out that the rainwater poured into one of the barns, the basement and living room of a nearby house, one of the houses in the city, the yard of one of the houses in a village and the basement of one of the houses in a village.

The rescuers cleaned the rain pipes, stopped the flow of rainwater, changed the course and prevented the flow of water into homes.
