Armenia’s Minister of Defense Vagharshak Harutyunyan today received Chargé d'Affaires of Italy in Armenia Giovanni Nicola Dionisi and Military Attaché of the Embassy of Italy, Major General Roberto Vannacci.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the Armenian-Italian cooperation in the defense sector and expressed willingness to resume implementation of the actions for cooperation (restricted due to the coronavirus pandemic) as soon as possible. They also discussed the security environment in the region, the existing threats and the expected developments.
