Mediaport Telegram channel reports the following:

“The investigators who visited the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) of Armenia to meet with Gagik Jhangiryan are investigating the criminal cases launched against the mayors of Goris and Kajaran. Attorney Amram Makinyan has published the response from the SJC proving the news in the media that Nikol Pashinyan’s assistant Anna Vardapetyan, who instructed an investigator under the case of the son of Ruben Hayrapetyan, visited member of the SJC Gagik Jhangiryan several times, apparently in regard to cases of persecutions against members of the opposition again.

Meanwhile, in the response of the SJC, Mediaport noted another major factor. On February 8 and 12, investigators Roman Sardaryan and Arsen Geghamyan, who are investigating the criminal cases launched against the mayors of Goris and Kajaran, also met with Gagik Jhangiryan.

Criminal cases were launched against four mayors of Syunik Province after they demanded Pashinyan’s resignation.

Jhangiryan has actually been sent to the SJC to coordinate the persecutions against members of the opposition.”
