YEREVAN. – We must all do our best so that there will be no tightening. Minister of economy Vahan Kerobyan told this to reporters Friday, referring to the worrying growth in COVID-19 cases in Armenia.

"It means keeping the rules of health safety as much as possible. I know that tightening [of health safety rules] is very bad for the economy. As I am responsible for the economy, I will be against tightening. But, of course, you have to look within the balance. If we see that the situation is becoming extreme and the healthcare system [of Armenia] can no longer curb the disease, of course, we [Armenia] must consider the option of going to tightening. [But] I believe we will be able to avoid such a development," he added.
