Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Artur Tovmasyan today received the delegation led by leader of the Constitutional Right Union Party, co-founder of the “Strong Armenia with Russia: For a New Union” movement Hayk Babukhanyan, including co-founders of the Voice of the Nation Party Mher Mesropyan and Roman Nazaryan, as well as member of the chairmanship of the Constitutional Right Union Vardan Astvatstatryan.
The interlocutors discussed the situation created after the war and the restoration of Artsakh’s territorial integrity through negotiations and touched upon regional and geopolitical developments.
Tovmasyan welcomed the actions for convergence of Armenian-Russian relations and noted that the parliament’s adoption of an amendment to the law on language that granted an official status to the Russian language was a similar action. The participants of the meeting also discussed the establishment of relations with the Parliament of Crimea.
