Azerbaijan will continue to use methods designed to terrorize the population of Artsakh, Artsakh Foreign Minister David Babayan told reporters.

His remarks came on question about the incidents of throwing stones at Armenian vehicles and shelling of villagers.

“The international community is informed about what is happening, if only because the state institutions of Artsakh, the Foreign Ministry, come out with the appropriate official comments. Of course, we must understand that Azerbaijan will use such methods. Firstly, it is cheap from a financial point of view, no need to use tanks, UAVs, air forces.

Because the goal is the same - to expel the Armenians from Artsakh. And such methods terrorize some of the people. It is easier for Azerbaijan. Well, they will say, this is not at the state level, maybe it was some mentally unbalanced person who did it, a relative of the one who died in the first Artsakh or April war.

This takes the Azerbaijani state out of the area of responsibility. We must understand this well and do our best not to succumb to provocations. We know Azerbaijanis well. Maybe someone doesn’t know them and compares Aliyev with Mona Lisa, but we know better,” the Foreign Minister noted.
