US Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Kabul on Thursday, TOLO News reported, citing sources.
According to him, Blinken will discuss with the leadership of Afghanistan the peace process in the country, as well as details of the withdrawal of American troops from Afghanistan.
There was no official confirmation of his plans to visit Kabul by the White House.
On April 14, US President Joe Biden announced that he plans to begin withdrawing US troops from Afghanistan in May and complete it by September 11, 2021.
