Possibility of the restart of Karabakh conflict ‘hot stage’ is very high, however the fight ‘will last mostly for several days’, chief editor of Georgian Arsenal military analytic newspaper, expert Irakli Aladashvili told Vesti.Az.
“Snipers do ‘work’ as there is uninterrupted shooting on the contact line of Azerbaijani and Karabakh armies. However, I doubt on armed conflict between Azerbaijan and Karabakh to last more than several days. It will be suppressed to stop under the pressure of international institutions, Turkey, Russia and U.S. And the sides will try to move forward their borders at that short period,” Aladashvili told.
The expert is worried in case war, Georgia cannot stay aside. Aladashvili does not exclude possibility of military actions on the border line of three states and diversions by the Armenians and Azerbaijanis.
