US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has offered to help Indonesia search for its missing submarine, RIA Novosti reported.
Austin expressed concern over the disappearance of this sub and the unknown fate of its 53 crewmembers.
The Indonesian Ministry of Defense thanked Austin for such an offer.
Russia, Germany, France, India, Turkey, and Australia also have offered to help.
