The Turkish Foreign Ministry summoned US Ambassador to Ankara David Satterfield in connection with the statement of President Joe Biden, in which he recognized the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.
"Turkey summoned the ambassador to Ankara and told him that it rejects Biden's assessment of the events of 1915," Interfax reported.
