The death toll in a fire at a hospital for coronavirus patients in the Iraqi capital Baghdad has risen to 82, with 110 more injured, according to the country's interior ministry.

According to media reports, the fire was caused by the explosion of an oxygen cylinder, most of the deaths were caused by carbon monoxide poisoning. 

Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi ordered the detention of a number of hospital leaders during the investigation.
