In four cities of Azerbaijan, there are centers of biological laboratories located along the length of Artsakh. This is what Head of the National Front for Spiritual and National Values NGO Alexander Amaryan said during today’s Russian-Armenian conference devoted to biological threats in the Eurasian territory.

According to him, those centers are subject to the US, and the zone of hostilities might become an appropriate platform for developments.

“In their turn, the biological laboratories in Armenia are a ticking bomb underneath the residents of the country,” he said, adding that the first responses to the use of a biological weapon in Armenia were noticed in 2007-08 when 25,000 pigs were eliminated in Lori Province as a result of the introduction of the African plague brought from Georgia.

“This was the first major blow to Armenia’s economy through this method,” he concluded.
