Russia is actively contributing to the settlement of the situation on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and will continue with the same spirit. This is what President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin declared during his phone conversation with acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan.

According to the Kremlin’s press service, the parties thoroughly discussed the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. “Both sides are interested in resolving the border incident quickly through negotiations. Vladimir Putin emphasized that the Russian side, as a mediator, is actively contributing to the settlement of the situation and will continue to act with the same spirit. An agreement was reached to continue contacts in regard to this and other issues,” the press release states.
