Armenia’s acting Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan today received Rapporteur of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) for Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons Paul Gavan, as reported the Armenian Ministry of Defense.

Greeting the guest, Sargsyan highly appreciated Armenia’s cooperation with the PACE and attached importance to the ongoing development of partnership with one of the key institutions in Europe.

The acting deputy defense minister thoroughly presented the situation regarding Armenians who were captured and are deemed to be missing after the war unleashed on September 27, 2020, as well as the destruction of Armenian cultural heritage in Nagorno-Karabakh and the war crimes committed by Azerbaijani servicemen.

Gavan expressed gratitude for the reception and assured that the information will be fully presented in the report being drafted.
