The highway linking the north of Armenia to the south and the anonymous peaks (1777.1 m and 1678.7 m) over the highway pass through Tigranashen (Kyarki enclave during the years of the former USSR). This is what political scientist Edgar Elbakyan wrote on his Telegram channel, adding the following:

“If we don’t try to abort this transfer by at least pressuring through the public, the media and on the streets, the capitulating authorities will transfer this territory, and then, with their propaganda, they will spread trashy news, stating that “at least Armenia has the Mount Tezhkar and the 1960.8 m anonymous peak”, and some citizens under the yoke will applaud this, without having an understanding.

Later, Elbakyan also touched upon the key significant of Voskepar village.

“If the new capitulation document is implemented, Voskepar village will be in the ‘forceps’ of Azerbaijan and will be emptied of Armenians, and the Armenia-Georgia interstate highway will be under the control of Azerbaijan. If we recall that the Armenia-Iran interstate road is also de facto under the control of Azerbaijan, Armenian will be in the ‘jaws’ of the Turkic world. We need to try to abort this transfer by at least pressuring through the public, the media and on the streets; otherwise, the future of Armenians in Armenia will truly be seriously and irrevocably questioned,” he wrote.
