Azerbaijan has invited British companies to invest in Karabakh territories that came under the control of Baku.

"We intend to expand cooperation with companies in the UK, which is a friendly country for us," President Ilham Aliyev said during a meeting with British Export Secretary Graham Stewart, Minval.az reported.

"I would like to note that among the first foreign companies that we invited as partners to work with us on the reconstruction and restoration of the territories liberated from the occupation, there are also British companies, and this process has already begun.

Master plans of cities have already been prepared, and we are in a very active phase. We intend to expand cooperation with UK companies, which is a friendly country for us," Aliyev said.
