Turkish state-run news agency Anadolu has reported the dismissal of its correspondent Musab Turan after he asked—at a news conference Friday—about interior minister Suleyman Soylu’s possible links to organized crime, RIA Novosti reported.

At this news conference, Turan had added that Soylu was causing serious moral damage to the ruling party.

As a result, Anadolu decided to fire its correspondent, noting that Turan "asked questions that do not meet the standards of journalism, and turned them into an act of political propaganda, broadcasting them live on his social media pages."

Also, a lawsuit has been filed with the Prosecutor's Office to check Musab Turan's possible connection with any terrorist organization.
