Norik Aghababyan, a conscript, went missing in the Vardenis region. He is a resident of Koghb village of Armenia’s Tavush Province, the mayor of Koghb, Arsen Aghababyan, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

"He is 18 years old; a three-month serviceman. He was serving in Vardenis. The last time he went on the internet was in the Vardenis area, and we no longer have had any information from him. At the moment, the police are looking for him, but there is no news yet," Aghababyan said.

And the Ministry of Defense told Armenian News-NEWS.am that this soldier had left his military unit on his own.

To note, Azerbaijani soldiers are currently near Vardenis, as they have entered the territory of Armenia.
